wild fires are caused when people drop matches or are careless about camp fires wild fires are fires that get out of hand and burn large areas of land

2. Describe a time when your type of weather/natural disaster changed the world.
the fires in cross plain, Texas were extinguished. However over the following 2 weeks, about 455,000 acres. Wildfires continued to break out over the next few months. The texas Forest Service called March 12, 2006, "the single worst day in Texas wildfire history." Many large wildfires broke out all across the state. High winds made it risky for small aircraft to fly. over a few days about 691,000 acres of land were burned. over 1,900 people had to evacuate thier homes and 11 people were killed
